Robotic edge finishing for repeatable deburring and chamfering.
A finishing cell defined around your component, the tool path and the edge condition you need. Reach, spindle and tool choice, workholding and loading all shape the result.

Why automate this step
Manual deburring is slow, dusty and inconsistent, and it is often the bottleneck after machining or casting.
A robot holding a compliant spindle follows the same path on every part. The edge it produces depends on tool selection, part location and how much the burr varies.
What the system includes
- Finishing robot selected for reach and process forces
- Spindle and tool options for the material and burr
- Part presentation and fixtures
- Dual-station layouts so loading overlaps finishing
- Tool wear and changeover planning
- Extraction interfaces where needed
- Trial parts and measured acceptance criteria
Your proposal lists exactly what is standard supply and what is optional.
What we need from you
These details let us judge suitability and size the system. Send what you have; we'll ask for the rest.
- Part material and drawing
- Burr size and location
- Required edge condition or chamfer
- Variation between parts
- Cycle-time target

Deburring & Chamfering FAQs
Can the robot handle burrs that vary in size?
Within limits. Compliant spindles and force control absorb some variation; large or inconsistent burrs may need an upstream fix. Trials on your parts show where the limit is.
Do you test on our parts first?
Yes. Trials on sample parts are how we agree the process and the acceptance measurements before the cell is finalised.
